Shatter Designs was founded by Nikolai Morlett in September 2026
Nikolai Morlett is a multidisciplinary graphic designer with experience in Creative Cloud, studio spaces, and knowledge of the music industry. Nikolai is currently studying for his Associate's Degree in Graphic Design at MiraCosta College, San Diego, California. Having been born in San Diego, lived half of his childhood in Lake Tahoe, and moved back to San Diego at the start of middle school, Nikolai has been exposed to many different cultures and aesthetics, which he continuously implements in his designs.
Throughout his life, Niko had a consistent soundtrack of music provided by his parents, with artists such as Tchaikovsky, Metallica, and Pinback playing on repeat before he was even out of the womb. During his childhood/upbringing, music continued to support Niko in navigating his way through life through deep lyrics, timeless artists, and an appreciation for exceptionally creative direction. In his most recent years, Niko felt like he wanted to give back to the community and artists that have supported him through song. With his deep appreciation for album concepts and art direction, he decided to turn his career towards designing and promoting artists, bands, album campaigns, tour campaigns, and more
